Medical institutions

The active finder includes all 3,150 Kumamoto records in the 1 June 2026 MHLW open-data release. MHLW supplies 2,737 map points. A further 410 lot, block, or named-facility points were validated through Japan's Digital Agency Address Base Registry, GSI address search, OpenStreetMap, and current public facility listings, giving 3,147 records with Plus Code Directions and live distance. The remaining three are outcall or appointment-only midwifery services that do not publish a public visit location; the app therefore disables Directions and does not invent a distance for them.

OTC medicine records

Reviewed 2 August 2026

The finder searches 23 nonduplicate, individually checked examples by body area, intended use, product, ingredient, manufacturer, risk class, and dosage form. Every intended-use category now has at least one result. Product cards show package images loaded from official manufacturer sites with a direct source link. Each current package and insert remains authoritative.

Important limitations

Use this guide to prepare, not to diagnose.

  • Call 119 for life-threatening symptoms. Do not wait for a search result.
  • Distances are straight-line estimates, not travel time.
  • Directions use the facility's reported map location. Confirm the map pin before travelling.
  • “Reported language” does not guarantee an interpreter on the current shift.
  • “After-hours” does not guarantee acceptance. Call the facility first.
  • OTC examples do not establish that a product is suitable, safe to combine, or the best choice.
  • The private medical card is stored in browser local storage, not encrypted clinical storage.
Medical open-data license

The MHLW page publishes Medical Information Net open data under Japan's Public Data License 1.0 and warns that facility-reported information can contain errors or be outdated. This app preserves those warnings and links to the official search.

JNTO medical guide

Kumamoto visitor facts are reviewed, summarized, dated, and attributed.

The JNTO guide supplies reception hours, department-specific language support, reported cards, foreign-patient status, and emergency availability. Kumamoto Health summarizes the factual fields for the Kumamoto subset, preserves the warning to call first, and links to the live JNTO guide. The app does not copy the guide's page design, illustrations, or downloadable PDF.

JSM-DBC boundary

The useful search pattern is recreated, not the protected catalog.

JSM-DBC's published usage policy prohibits reproduction and duplication of its database content and asks for advance contact before linking. This app does not scrape, copy, embed, iframe, directly link, or reuse protected product images from that service. Users can add a temporary on-device package photo, open approved manufacturer pages, and continue to PMDA's official search. A permission request for a licensed data feed and product images is included with the source package.
